Seeing Trauma to Supporting Those Experiencing Trauma

By Anonymous Pilot As a Veteran, First Responder, Spouse to a Nurse I have been one who has always been there supporting others who have experienced traumatic events.

( I am also someone who has been flying since before I had my full drivers license, but temporarily paused my love of aviation to become a dad.)

I have had a knack for being that ear for someone to talk to, vent or know what to say to help ease the tension that someone was experiencing. As I have grown older, started a family, watched my child grow I realized through all that I have experienced during the course of my career(s) I had great support systems helping me through each incident.

What does this have to do with aviation?

When I saw POSI , I knew that this was a great resource for those in need of a support to help them through their rough patches and for a way to make it back up into the air.

I support the POSI Mission and am still humbled to help in any way I can by graphics, art, or word of mouth.
